I think I'll be doing 3 "Year in Review" posts. One for my clients, one for my personal photos I've never shared and this one, all in monochrome, which is exceptionally personal to me. There's something about a black and white photograph. Sure it's timeless, we all know that. Sure it's an easy way to make your subjects stand out amidst a crazy background. There's still something about monochrome that takes the very breath out of me. It makes me truly feel, and, more often than not, leaves me with tears in my eyes after I finish editing it. These next photographs are the ones that did just that and are among some of my favorite images from this year. Each family is part of my heartbeat. Each child teaching me something new on every single session. I hope you guys savor these as much as I do. Get you a nice cup of something warm and if you have a big computer, go look at these photographs on it, slowly, of course. If you're viewing them on your phone, turn your phone sideways. ;)
