I wanted to photograph this session in a way that I don’t typically shoot when it comes to bridal portraits. I’ve really been drawn to photographing people looking towards the light lately. (vs. backlighting) Something about the light and shadows make the images feel nostalgic to me. They also feel more present.

These were taken on a lovely spring afternoon at the USC campus. Taylor has such a tranquil yet strong spirit about her. When I saw her in her dress, my heart just screamed, “Yesssss!”

I LOVE her dress. I love her shoes- tiedye, whaaat!!! I love her flowers and her beautiful eyes.
